About Jwala
Discover the heartbeat of change at Jwala – The Voice of Women, a dedicated NGO passionately committed to women’s empowerment.
Founded in 2012, our journey began as a movement fuelled by the collective anger and frustration of resilient women deeply affected by the tragic Nirbhaya case in Delhi.
Jwala, meaning ‘flame,’ symbolizes our commitment to lighting the path towards women’s empowerment. Jwala is a beacon of hope and empowerment born from the ashes of adversity. Our founders, driven by a desire for change, established this NGO to transform their anguish into a force for good.
